Game Writer

MMOABC is looking to hire game writers who will be responsible for keeping up-to-date with MMO games, covering everything from reviews to unique features to major patches and updates. You will have the opportunity to voice your opinions about the game's progress and share your thoughts with the community at large. You will also have a chance to write useful gameplay guides that would greatly benefit your game's community.

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to share your thoughts and opinions with our readers.
• Long term interest in being an assigned Game Correspondent.
• Experience writing in the games industry.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must have the availability to write, at minimum, four articles per month of no less than 1,000 words.
• Must have and demonstrate a working knowledge of grammar and spelling.
• Must understand and adhere to deadlines.
• Must be an active player and knowledgeable about MMO games.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 500 word article on any interesting topic from the game you currently play.
• A cover letter detailing your availability and any ideas that you may have.

Marketing Intern

MMOABC is seeking part-time interns for our marketing division. This position offers tremendous video game business experience. Depending on your skill set you will be involved in all aspects of the company from assisting in testing games, to helping our sales and marketing team. You will also learn about preparing, proof reading, and publishing printed materials, as well as assist with basic telephone support.

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

• All applicants must be able to commit to twenty hours a week for this internship. School credit is available.
• Report to and assist Marketing Manager on game launches, events, promotions, and special marketing projects.
• Aid in creating advertising materials, correspond with major publications, do web research and design, and assemble electronic press kits.
• Must be able to commit to twenty hours a week for this internship.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be allowed to work in the United States.
• All business communication is conducted in English. Must be able to read and write English.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, HTML, and design skills are preferred.
• Experience in social media and bookmarking sites are preferred.
