The reports emanate from an article in French daily Les Echos which suggests that the that the paid content portal will offer consumers games, music, film and video content from Vivendi and partners on computers, television and mobile phones.

The portal will allegedly be launched by a newly established unit called Vivendi Mobile Entertainment.

The move comes seven years after Vivendi launched its unsuccessful Vizzavi venture, a mobile, PC and interactive TV portal.
