Following the accessible Madden 09 All-Play, EA Sports is releasing another licensed sports title that uniquely attempts to attract the Wii"s mass market audience.

NASCAR Kart Racing will feature licensed drivers including (but not limited to) Jeff Burton, Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart.

A video for the game, slated for North American release on February 10, 2009, showed a colorful racer featuring big-headed characters in tiny NASCAR-inspired karts pulling off various arcade-like stunts, a far cry from the realistic NASCAR 09.

Up to four players can play via split screen across 24 "race layouts." Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, Dover International Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway will all be in the game.
