THQ has reportedly withdrawn its lawsuit against Activision Blizzard for using “virtually identical” coverart in its Baja racing title, SCORE International Baja 1000.

THQ had initially filed the lawsuit against Activision for damages incurred from how the boxart in SCORE International would impact on the company"s own Baja: Edge of Control. THQ claimed the similarities would “confuse, cause mistake or deceive the public into believing that the Activision Game originates [from] THQ.”

According to a report from Patent Arcade, however, THQ has withdrawn its suit as Activision has changed the cover art to the recently-released SCORE International Baja 1000.
