Under a new deal with Epic Games, online games retailer Good Old Games is now selling select titles from the Unreal franchise DRM-free.

Unreal Gold and Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year Edition are currently available, with Unreal II: The Awakening and Unreal Tournament 2004 to follow. In addition to being DRM-free, Good Old Games ensures its versions of these games are compatible with modern Windows operating systems.

VP of Epic Games Jay Wilbur explained the agreement, saying, "Epic has partnered with GOG.com to make our time-honored Unreal series more accessible than ever before.”

Adam Oldakowski, managing director of GOG.com, added, "We know that a lot of gamers have been waiting for new deals, and we"re sure that the Unreal games will satisfy their lust for alien blood and intense multiplayer action."
