Crime MMO All Points Bulletin from Realtime Worlds entered the final phase of internal alpha in mid-September, the U.K.-based developer said this week.

"...We moved into the final phase of internal alpha testing with regular play tests involving 100+ employees enjoying the various elements of APB currently available. The aims of this phase are to tidy up the current experiences whilst we prepare to move out of alpha, in the future phases we will begin the tentative process of allowing others into the game," wrote community relations manager Chris Dye.

"Initially this will be a very core, select number of trusted friends of employees, but does mark the start of what can be considered the ‘Closed’ Beta stage of APB. Whilst any dates for future phases depend on the progress made, we will keep you updated in our future monthly updates."

Realtime also said it"s keeping a close eye on suggestions from its growing community, which is eagerly anticipating the game.

For example, the studio said that it has already implemented a community idea, an arrest/capture system; is considering stealth systems; and has rejected the idea of selectable classes such as Detective or SWAT.

Realtime is the developer behind the acclaimed Crackdown open world game for Xbox 360, and is led by Dave Jones, who played a major role in the creation of the original Grand Theft Auto.
