Dyack: Too Human Wasnt a 10-year Slog

Too Human, which released for Xbox 360 last week, originally made its debut as a work-in-progress PlayStation title in 1999.

This has led many to the assumption that Too Human has been in development for around 10 years, but Denis Dyack, president of Ontario developer Silicon Knights, says that this was not the case, according to Xbox 360 Fanboy.

"I cannot dispel that rumor enough. ... That is a bad way to talk about Too Human because that is factually incorrect," he said regarding talk of a 10-year development cycle for the game.

Dyack said full production on Too Human didn"t begin after the release of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes in 2004.

He added that the actual concept for Too Human was created about three weeks before Silicon Knights laid out the concept for 1996"s Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain.
