A group of game critics have dubbed Fallout 3 the best game of July"s E3 Media and Business Summit 2008.

Bethesda"s upcoming multiplatform RPG was voted Best of Show, beating out fellow nominees Gears of War 2, LittleBigPlanet, Mirror"s Edge and Spore, the Game Critics group announced Tuesday.

Fallout 3 also won Best RPG of the show, edging out Chrono Trigger DS, Dragon Age: Origins and Sonic Chronicles.

Media Molecule"s LittleBigPlanet walked away with the Best Console Game award, while Spore won out on PC.

Other games that won their respective categories include Left 4 Dead, Madden NFL 09, Street Fighter IV, Dead Space and Gears of War 2.

Overall, EA walked away with the most wins with five awards. Sony followed with three wins, Bethesda with two and Microsoft with one.
