Gamecock has put pen to paper on deal that will see its titles made available for download from digital distribution network GameTap’s online store, as well as for subscription and ad-supported play.

Under the terms of the agreement, titles including Insecticide, Stronghold Crusader Extreme, and upcoming games Legendary (pictured) and Velvet Assassin will be added to GameTap’s online storefront, and then to the subscription service and ad-supported website.

“Gamecock is committed to providing gamers with original titles from the most talented developers,” said Gamecock’s Harry Miller. “By partnering with GameTap, we have another chance to ensure that gamers can find and play great games made by independent developers.”

A similar lineup of Gamecock titles was added to Valve’s digital distribution platform Steam in early July.

“With the growth and acceptance of digital download, gamers now have greater access to original titles,” Miller added.
