Smash Bros. Brawl Storms European Charts
The title laid waste to the competition in Europe during the week ended June 29, having topped the UK chart too.
The previous week’s bestseller in all three mainland European countries, Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 4, slipped to second place in Spain, fifth in Germany and seventh in Sweden.
Battlefield Bad Company, Mario Kart Wii, Brain Training, Wii Play, The Sims 2 Ikea Home Stuff and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII recorded multiple entries across the three charts.
In total, Wii and PS3 games each took eight of the available 30 chart spots, while DS and PC games both took four. Three PS2 titles charted, along with two PSP games and just one for Xbox 360.
