Ex-GameSpot reviewer Alex Navarro told MTV"s Multiplayer blog that at the time of the Wii"s launch, there was a certain unnamed game on deck for review.

A publicist sent him a helpful message: "If the review is 9.0 or higher you can post immediately. Lower than 9.0, could you please hold until launch day, November 19th? Thanks."

Ludicrous? Yeah. Surprising? Not a bit. Navarro said that it wasn"t the first time he received such a request.

In its review, GameSpot ended up trashing the game, which the website ended up buying from a retailer.
