Pardo will be presenting a keynote in Q&A form for the session, "In the Eye of the Blizzard." GDC Events executive director Jamil Moledina will interview Pardo on "his inspirations, challenges, and on the next steps at Blizzard Entertainment," a statement from GDC officials said.

Pardo has been with Blizzard since 1997, heading up projects such as StarCraft: Brood War, Warcraft III and the hotly-anticipated titles StarCraft II and World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.

Paris GDC will be held June 23-24 at the Coeur Défense Convention Centre in Paris. It"ll be the second French installment for GDC.

A variety of other talks will be held during the two-day event, with presenters including Valve"s Kim Swift (Portal), 2K Boston"s Chris Kline (BioShock), SCEE"s Lionel Lemarié (multi-core tuning), Crytek"s Sten Hübler (Crysis) and PlayFirst"s John Welch (casual gaming).
